Committees at the MRCC in Action

Collaborate, lead, and make a difference in the Marlborough region’s business and community—driving growth and meaningful connections.

Why Join a Committee?

Committees are the backbone of the Marlborough Regional Chamber, driving initiatives that support local businesses, foster community connections, and advocate for economic growth. Whether you’re passionate about networking, policy, or education, there’s a place for you.

Our Committees

Each MRCC committee plays a vital role in our mission to empower businesses and the communities of Marlborough, Hudson, Berlin, Northborough, Southborough, and Sudbury, MA.

Ambassadors

The Ambassadors are the welcoming face of the Marlborough Regional Chamber. They play a crucial role in onboarding new members, ensuring they feel connected and supported. Ambassadors also represent the Chamber at events, fostering a sense of community and encouraging active participation. Their efforts help build lasting relationships among members and strengthen the Chamber’s network.

Government Affairs

This committee is the voice of the business community, advocating for policies that promote economic growth and benefit local businesses. Members of the Government Affairs Committee engage with city and state leaders, ensuring that the interests of Marlborough’s business community are represented. From legislative updates to policy discussions, this committee is at the forefront of shaping a business-friendly environment.

Events

The Events Committee is the creative force behind the Chamber’s signature events. From the annual Golf Classic to the Annual Awards Celebration, this committee plans and executes events that bring the community together. Their work not only provides valuable networking opportunities but also raises the Chamber’s profile and supports its mission to foster connections and growth.

School to Business

This committee bridges the gap between education and industry, preparing the next generation of leaders. By fostering partnerships between local schools and businesses, the School to Business Committee creates opportunities for students to gain real-world experience and for businesses to invest in the future workforce. Their initiatives include mentorship programs, internships, and career readiness workshops.
